I Am Not Too Hard To Find ©Jim Harper, BAWN Pub.
I am not too hard to find,
It's just that I'm down near the end of the line
And I've settled down in Carolina just to ease my mind
And if you're looking for me, I'm not that hard to find
But these memories of me I leave behind
Assure you I will not change
I am the only I you'll know,
They only made one kind
And if you're looking for me I'm not that hard to find
And though I may not be in your eyes
You are always on my mind
There is always a place left inside my heart
For the love I leave behind
And if you're looking for me I'm not that hard to find
There's an ocean right outside my door;
Room on the floor if you don't snore
Sun and the Georgia pine
And if you're looking for me I'm not that hard to find
I am not that hard to find,
It's just that I'm down near the end of the line
And I've settled down in Carolina just to ease my mind
And if you're looking for me, I'm not that hard to find

Song for Our Son © Joan Maute, Studio 2
Chorus
Your blue eyes are reflecting me
In a way that I have waited for
Your blue eyes are reflecting me
And you've no idea what you have got in store.
So you smile and kick and laugh
As your teddy bears go 'round
You scream for joy when your Daddy holds your hand
It's hard for us to think that this little baby boy
Will one day, some day be a man
Cause now you swing a bit and sleep a bit
And chew your fingers well
You cry a little just to ease the pain
You play junior birdsman, junior thumbsman, junior little boy
You've got tears to lose and happiness to gain.
Chorus
So we talk to you in words you cannot understand
We tell you of the things we'll see and do
How can you understand that this woman and this man
Were born again all because of you.
Now you think in colors shinny bright,
You think of how to smile
You wonder how you'll get from here to there.
So you scoot a bit and crawl a bit,
Then you rest awhile.
All the time we're laughin' showing you we care.
Chorus
The Ballad of the Portable Kid ©Joan Maute, Studio 2
Once I knew a boy he was his parents pride and joy.
So they took him with them everywhere they went.
From the age of two years old he was always on the road,
A new dimension to everything he lent.
They called him portable kid, loveable kid, likeable kid and friend.
Portable kid with the handle on his back.
Portable kid, take along kid, movable kid, and son,
Portable kid the one who's in the pack.
Whether hiking through the woods or going swimming with his dad.
Or a weekend in a cottage to the north,
He was always right there sharing love and life and care,
Full of wonder and happiness of course.
They called him portable kid, loveable kid, likeable kid and friend.
Portable kid with the handle on his back.
Portable kid, take along kid, movable kid, and son,
Portable kid the one who's in the pack.
They played tennis in the park went to museums full of art.
They went dining, driving, doing up the town.
His bright eyes would take it in his mouth would kiss it with a grin,
Sights and pleasures in his head were spinning 'round.
They called him portable kid, loveable kid, likeable kid and friend.
Portable kid with the handle on his back.
Portable kid, take along kid, movable kid, and son,
Portable kid the one who's in the pack.

I Find Peace © Joan Maute, Studio 2
Chorus:
With the storm comes the power
With the wind comes high seas
Though the waves grow and tower
He brings calm, I find peace He brings calm, I find peace
Trust and faith can be fair-weather friends
All is fine 'til the rain
Fear and doubt can surface again
Losing more than you've gained
Chorus
Comfort, assurance seem drowned in the tide
Struggling to reach for the air
Hope for the Future will somehow survive
You can see the light there
Chorus
Love and forgiveness are yours; they're from me
Showing light on the way
Follow to shore across stormy seas
Dance in the glow of the day
With the storm comes the power
With the wind comes high seas
Though the waves grow and tower
He brings calm, I find peace He brings calm, I find peace
He brings ca - - - - lm, I find peace.
Serve in Faith © Joan Maute, Studio 2
No one can serve two masters, so serve only God
Care not for food or drink or shoes in which to trod
God cares for the birds in the sky and the flowers in the field
He clothes and decorates all His world for His love with care is sealed.
Follow when He calls you, though you don't know why
Don't ask what? Who? Me? He'll make you qualified
He puts His work in the hands of folks like you and me
He gives power and the strength to be extraordinary
So fret you not about what will come.
Just seek His kingdom on high
He'll care for tomorrow for you and me
Just like He cares for the flowers and the birds up in the sky.
As I Do © Joan Maute, Studio 2
Do you understand what I've done for you?
Can you go beyond what you see?
Do you understand what I've done for you?
I'm teacher, lord to thee.
As I do, so should you, As I do, so should you
No servant is greater than master
No messenger greater than the king
No servant is greater than master
Now you know these things
As I do, so should you, As I do, so should you
I've set an example Shown you what to do
I've set an example now it's up to you.
As I do, so should you, As I do, so should you
So should you

Look Around © Joan Maute/K.T. Gileno
Don't look down, you'll miss the colors of the rainbow
Look around see the beauty of the light
It won't leave you standin' standin' there alone
For what you put out you'll get it back twice
Don't look down or you surely will be gone
Take your time and turn it into your song
Look around, see the color of your life
Paint it up, don't live in black and white
Gotta look up and face the music
Gotta look yourself right in the eye
Gotta stand for what you're knowin'
And I'll stand right by your side
Look around tell me can you see the sky
Look on up don't let it pass you by
Tell me now, do you live what you dream?
Take it in just like the air you breathe
Look around, look up not away
Life is now, not yesterday
Perfect space, perfect space on high
Draw it close you know you better hold it tight
Look Around tell me what do you see
Look Ahead
there's life and symmetry
Simply said
there's room for everyone
There's beauty framed in love.
If you look around
.tell me what you see...look around
.
life and symmetry hey look around
.yeah look around
You better look around
.if you wanna take the ride
.you know you better look inside..and look around...tell me what you see...
look around...just look around..hey look around, look around oh yeah, look around
.
Like a Child © Joan Maute, Studio 2
Children have innocence, children have joy
They come eyes wide open, taking everything in
So come to me like a child put your trust in me
Come to me like a child let me be all that you see
Look to me for innocence, look to me for joy
With eyes wide open, taking everything in
Come to me like a child put your faith in me
Come to me like a child let me be all that you see
Draw near through innocence, draw near through joy
With eyes wide open, taking everything in
Come to me like a child put your trust in me
Come to me like a child let me be all that you see
Stay with me in innocence Stay with me in joy
With eyes wide open, taking everything in
Come to me like a child put your faith in me
Come to me like a child let me be all that you see
Children have innocence, children have joy
Trust me in innocence, trust me in joy.

Gonna Get On Out of Here © Joan Maute, Studio 2
Chorus:
Gonna take that step, gonna make that leap, gonna get on out of here
Don't know what taken us (me)* so long.
Gonna take that step, gonna make that leap, gonna throw it all away
Gonna turn our back and smile and move along.
We've been busy livin', lovin', earnin'
Making time for all that needed done.
All good years but finally we're learnin'
Life's too short to live on the run.
Chorus
Nothing wrong with what we have been doing,
Nothing 'cept it's driving us insane.
We've too much to chance it all on ruin.
We've got to go there's too much we can gain.
Chorus
Nothing wrong with what we have been saying.
We just feel there's got to be much more.
There's no sense in spinning wheels and staying.
We're taking off; we're learning how to soar.
Chorus
Some tell us it won't be any different.
Some say, "I stuck it out, why can't you?"
Some give us warnings that are well meant.
But most wish they were going with us too!
Gonna take that step, gonna make that leap, gonna get on out of here,
Don't know what's taken us so long.
Gonna take that step, gonna make that leap, gonna throw it all away,
Gonna leave it all behind, gonna turn our backs and laugh and move along!

Vancouver 7am © Joan Maute, Studio 2
The sound of a waterfall, the calling of a bird
The small white flowers that I see
All remind me of the things we've done
and lived and loved and learned
On our journey toward becoming you and me
I close my eyes the wind blows through my hair
I almost know that you are there
laughing, knowing, smiling as we walk
The branches ride the breeze to brush my hand
Somehow I feel they understand
The beauty in the silence as we talk
The water wanders to the shore the ships set out to see
The mountains watch the bay through cloud and haze
Traveling here and there my thoughts go out
to the place we live 3,000 miles away
The sun shines through the trees and warms my soul
I feel a joy beyond contro0l
knowing though you're not with me we still are one
You are my love, we're life, we're energy
We race and stretch reality on our life long journey to the sun
